The Problem

Being Overwhelmed by too many options and that too—unverified

Parents are inundated with choices when searching for childcare, making the process stressful. We developed a guided onboarding experience and tour booking feature that simplifies decision-making by personalizing results and streamlining the booking process.

How might we personalize the childcare search and streamline the process and the information for parents?

How I did it

1. Strategy & Research: Led research and user interviews to uncover pain points and shape the redesign strategy.

2. Flow & Wireframes: Mapped user flows and created wireframes to simplify navigation and enhance the user experience.

3. Design: Built a cross platform experience that was intuitive and consistent, especially around learning progress and assessments.

4. Design System: Developed a cross platform, component based design system to ensure consistency and scalability.

5. Test & Iterate: Conducted 1-on-1 and group A/B testing and implemented iterative feedback loops to refine the design.

Impact

  • 150% increase in user engagement with learning modules.
  • 100% growth in library usage as a much needed and a newly developed feature.
  • 20% increase in graduation rates, with more students completing courses on time.
  • 75% decrease in stress levels during quizzes, improving the learning experience.
  • Booking Tours:

    We implemented a streamlined tour booking system that allows parents to schedule tours with preschools directly through the platform, simplifying the entire process of selecting and visiting schools.
